FRIDAY, SEPT. 9

6:17 p.m. Police were called to a domestic dispute at a home north of High School Road.

The caller, a woman, said she and her husband had a fight about money while having dinner and “a few beers.” He became so angry, she said, that he destroyed furniture in the dining room.

Police noted broken chairs, lamps and spilled salad dressing and water all over the room.

There were no injuries and the husband had since left the house.

The woman said she did not want her husband to go to jail, but she was very shaken by the dispute. She decided to take the couple’s young son with her to stay with her sister in Bremerton for the weekend.

Police attempted to call the husband. He did not answer.
