The 13th annual Fourth of July Photo Club exhibition featured 160 prints by 19 members, just one of which claimed both first and second place in the fan favorite contest.

Dawn Bockus’ “Anna’s Hummingbird” was the most popular image in the show, based on 3,300 votes tallied, according to exhibition coordinator Cindy McGregor. Visitors to the show were invited to vote for 10 of their favorite pictures on display.

“Eagle Eye,” also by Bockus, claimed second place. Third place went to Jon Root’s “Bow View: Princess Louisa Inlet.”

Two images were recognized as honorable mentions this year: Lidija Gregov’s “Sailboats at Bainbridge Island” and Root’s “Skagit Bay Morning.”

The Bainbridge Island Photo Club has 49 members and meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Waterfront Park Community Center. Programming alternates between educational presentations and sharing or critiquing members’ digital images and prints. Guests are always welcome.
