Bainbridge Working Studios is showcasing “the sweet life” this year, as the island artistic cooperative welcomes Sweetlife Farm to its summer celebration weekend event.
Cecil Ross and Mesolini Glass studios will also be open and hosting an array of talented artists throughout the free three-day event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 9.
Vendors will include some of the best offerings in local fare and art, with more than 20 artists showing work between the three venues.
Some of this year’s highlights include Cecil Ross’ new series of carved burl trees, Charan Sachar’s new knitted clay pieces, Garth Edwards’ steel garden sculptures,
Raquel Stanek’s new mosaic bird sculptures, Mesolini glass’ new array of fused glass works and Blue Streak Chocolates’ hand-dipped artisan chocolates.
Mesolini Glass Studio is located at 13291 Madison Ave. NE; Cecil Ross Studio is located at 12851 Madison Ave. NE; and Sweetlife Farm is located at 9631 Summerhill Lane NE.
