“I use materials recycled and repurposed from our marine canvas business to create unique totes and bags. These include leftover canvas, mesh, gently used sails and vinyl event banners,” Nicol said.

“Recently I’ve begun painting with acrylics on sailcloth and incorporating these into bags,” she added. “From totes to messenger and yoga mat bags, I enjoy recombining fabric elements into simple, attractive items to be used every day.”

The studios are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days of the tour, with live music provided by regional musicians and carolers. Each studio will be festively adorned for the holiday season, and full of hand-crafted artwork.
