Wind Burial is a psych-rock quartet formed in Seattle in March 2013 featuring members of the band Snowdrift (Paradigms Records UK).

The Stranger describes: “Seattle quartet Wind Burial’s Kat Terran sings in a rich, melancholy tone over tempered tempests of night-desert rock. Subtle elements of psychedelia and folk seep into the songwriting, which aims for and mostly attains profundity. If this initial batch of tunes is any indication, we have much to look forward to.”

Hungry Cloud Darkening — recently featured on NPR — will be opening. All Songs Considered said: “a whisper-quiet soprano over a bouncing bassline and muddied percussion made sinister by droning keyboards. It’s part bummer Beach Boys, part Twin Peaks soundtrack.”

Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Rolling Bay Hall is at 10598 NE Valley Road.
