According to the latest forecast for the Island from the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle, there is a 50 percent chance of showers on Bainbridge on Saturday, July 8.

It is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 68 degrees.

Showers are also likely Saturday night, as the chance of precipitation rises to 60 percent.

How much rain? Not much. Forecasters note that new precipitation amounts will probably be less than a tenth of an inch of rain.

On Sunday, expect another mostly cloudy day.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers, and a high near 69 is forecast.

The chance of showers drops to 20 percent Sunday night.

Can’t stand Mondays? Good. It’s expected to rain again – but the current forecast says just a 20 percent chance.

Extended forecast: The sun is expected to make an appearance mid-week, with Thursday being mostly sunny.
