Our favorite star will make a big appearance this weekend on Bainbridge. The sun — yes, the sun! — will return for a limited engagement, according to the weekend forecast from the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle.

The forecast calls for a mostly sunny Saturday with a high near 67.

Skies are expected to stay mostly clear overnight, and Sunday will also live up to its name with clear skies and the temperature increasing to a high near 75.

More sun, and a high near 79, is expected Monday. Then its back to rain, rain, rain, with showers expected on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
