The weekend weather in one word: Meh.

The National Weather Service’s office in Seattle is predicting a mostly cloudy and wet weekend on Bainbridge Island.

The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of showers on Saturday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature that may top out near 64 degrees.

There will be a chance of showers overnight, but the chance of rain on Sunday will drop to 20 percent before 11 a.m.

Sunday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temp again in the mid-60s.

Skies will turn partly cloudy overnight.

Expect to start your week on Monday with partly sunny skies and the thermometer again hovering in the mid-60s.
