Weekend weather report: Not-so-magical weekend | The Bainbridge Blab

Now you see it, now you don’t.

Sunshine, that is. Friday’s mostly sunny skies are expected to give way to rain on Saturday, and a smaller chance of more wet weather on Sunday.

That’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

The forecast predicts a 20 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m. Saturday, followed by increasing clouds, with a high temperature near 59 degrees.

Light southwest winds will turn to south-southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

On Saturday night, it will stay cloudy with rain likely (the chance of precipitation is 60 percent). The low is expected to drop to around 45.

Come Sunday, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers.

There’s a bright spot, though, with the prospect of partly sunny skies later in the day with a high near 58.

More rain and showers are expected for the start of your week, with wet weather on Monday and Tuesday turning into sunshine mid-week.
