Enjoy that bit of sun you’ll see over Bainbridge Island on Friday.

Why? Because that sunshine will be slipping away for the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Seattle is predicting another wet weekend for the Rock.

The latest forecast says rain is likely on the islandSaturday before 11 a.m., with a chance of showers following. It is expected to stay cloudy, and the high temperature will be near 58 degrees.

The chance of precipitation on Saturday is 60 percent, but will fall to 50-50 at night.

An overnight low of around 40 degrees is expected.

Come Sunday, there’s a decreased chance of showers: 20 percent.

It will stay mostly cloudy, with a high near 54.

The weather will continue to improve for the start of the coming week, with partly sunny skies and a high near 57.

Continued rain is expected later in the week, with highs in the upper 50s.
