The Waterfront Book Group will talk about “The Girls from Ames” by Jeffrey Zaslow at the group’s meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.

Zaslow chronicles the friendship between 11 women that carries them through college and careers, marriage and motherhood, dating and divorce, a child’s illness and the mysterious death of one member of their group.
