Author and mountaineer Steve Sieberson will present “Mountain Travels in the Wide, Wide World” at The Traveler at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Sieberson has traveled extensively in search of exotic summits, and he has written of his experiences in “The Naked Mountaineer – Misadventures of an Alpine Traveler.”

He will select several of his favorite mountains, including the Matterhorn, Mount Fuji, and the highest peak in Norway for his talk. His colorful slides and readings from his book will be of great interest to climbers, armchair adventurers, and anyone who loves travel.
