Anne Pell, popular island-based pianist, will perform jazz favorites with her band at Saint Barnabas Church at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 in the latest installment of the “For Our Children” concert series, benefiting the island nonprofit staple Helpline House.

Pell will be joined by Mike Sellman on trumpet, bassist Ted Enderle and drummer John Lester.

Now in its sixth year, the “For Our Children” concerts raise money for Helpline’s Children’s Enrichment Fund, which provides resources for arts and music education in the community.

The Children’s Enrichment Fund was conceptualized for children and teens who aspire to have music and the arts in their lives, but may need assistance. The fund provides financial support for a wide range of after-school and seasonal programs such as: private and group lessons in music, dance and theater; summer camps; Boys & Girls Club membership; sports fees; band gear and more.

Tickets will be available at the door, the suggested donation is $20 per person, which includes two drinks and snacks. All of the proceeds, 100 percent, go to the Children’s Enrichment Fund.
