The Island Film Group will meet for a movie at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the Bainbridge Public Library. The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month for free films and discussion.

The film this time is the 1962 MGM/United Artists western, “Ride the High Country.” Directed by Sam Peckinpah, it stars Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea and Mariette Hartley.

Scott and McCrea play two aging gunfighters reunited to deliver a gold shipment across the Sierras.

The film runs 100 minutes and is not rated.
