A new covered memorial shelter overlooking Eagle Harbor was installed at Pritchard Park privately funded by the Parsons family, in honor of their daughter Carrie and other families who have prematurely lost their children. The new rock-and-timber bench shelter sits on the bluff overlooking the mouth of Eagle Harbor with a view of the Seattle skyline was designed by Dan Hamlin and David Harry, Bainbridge Metro Parks superintendent.

A variety of wildflowers grow on the bluff at the foot of the bench shelter.

A perfect spot to view ferries and the Seattle skyline.
