MLK celebration set for BIMA auditorium

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art will host a special daylong schedule of events titled “Move & Be Moved” in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

From 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, in the Frank Buxton Auditorium, the museum will present program of art, poetry, performance, music, conversation, the Awesome Praise gospel choir, and words by members of the Suquamish Tribe, and special guests Michael “Quess?” Moore and Mike Barnet.

Admission is free and open to all.
