Roby King Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Kathe Fraga from July 7 through July 29 at the Winslow gallery.

Fraga will showcase bright, colorful contemporary interpretations of hand-painted the Chinoiserie decorative period of the 17th-18th centuries in Europe.

Her textured panels are adorned with birds, flowers, leaves and vines.

The artist layers hand-painted designs, sanding rough between the layers of acrylic paint to create the timeworn appearance of antique wall coverings.

A First Friday reception is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7.
