First Sundays Concerts presents a jazz quartet with Mark Lewis on saxophone and flute, Marc Seales on piano, Steve Luceno on bass and Steve Dixon on drums at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 1.

An outstanding lineup of jazz musicians, this promises to be a great concert. KPLU Radio host Jim Wilke said, “Mark Lewis is a Northwest treasure. He’s devoted years to honing his skills on saxes and flute and it shows in his tone and execution. He’s also a catalyst who makes things happen on stage, inspiring everyone who plays with him.” Seales is a noted pianist, composer and leading figure in the Northwest jazz scene who is a professor in jazz music at the University of Washington.

The concert takes place at Waterfront Park Community Center.
