Beau Nicholas Green has graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Beau graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2006 and the University of Washington in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology.

The new grad gives special thanks to the Bainbridge Island School District for a great education. His family said a lifelong love of horses, cats, dogs and other critters inspired his studies.

For the next year he will be honing his skills at Bend Equine Medical Center in Bend, Oregon.
