Cut paper cards in the Japanese Kirie style on Dec. 9

Elizabeth VanDuine is a master with the utility knife.

Her specialty is Kirie, a Japanese form of paper cutting in which the artist sketches an image, then cuts it out of a single piece of paper using a utility knife. Colorful papers can then be adhered on the back to complete the image.

Join VanDuine at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 to make cards or small works perfect for gift giving.

The cost is $95 and includes materials. BAC members receive a $10 discount and students, $20.
