Eagle Harbor Book Company will host a talk by Justin Go based on his debut novel “The Steady Running of the Hour” this week.

The event is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8 and is free and open to the public. (Two seats may be reserved with the advanced purchase of “The Steady Running of the Hour.”)

The program will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a book signing.

In “The Steady Running of the Hour,” a fortune, unclaimed for nearly 80 years, leads a young American on a journey of passion and courage. Is there proof that he’s the rightful heir? Spanning the battlefields of France to the slopes of Everest, this astonishing novel will capture anyone interested in mountaineering, World War I or simply a good read.

WSJ Magazine noted: “With this debut, Justin Go deploys the elements of a caper — an unclaimed fortune, an illicit affair — in an assured literary thriller.”

Eagle Harbor Book Company is located at 157 Winslow Way East. For more information, call 206-842-5332 or visit www.eagleharborbooks.com.
