70% of photo sales go to help Ukrainians

Pete Saloutos is an advocate for “giving back” and has a Bainbridge Island history of creating photo exhibits for causes near and far that touch his heart.

He’s doing it again for the people of Ukraine.

Saloutos is selling photos at Roby King Galleries in Winslow with 70 percent of each sale to be donated to Chef Jose World Central Kitchen to help people in war-torn Ukraine in their battle against Russia.

Saloutos makes his living as a commercial photographer and this exhibition at Roby Kelly Studio represents his range of imagery and are printed on archival paper, 13×19 or metal prints 24×36.

Saloutos was instrumental in the early 1990’s “Saving Gazzam Lake” group photo exhibition.

His “911” exhibition raised $10,000 for the American Red Cross. “Arms Around Bainbridge” was conceived by Saloutos with locals to raise funds for those with illnesses and needing extra funds for rent etc.

Other exhibitions included supporting the families of the pilot and nurses local NW Airlift Crash in 1995. And he creates an annual calendar to benefit Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
