To the editor:
With the flood of tourists in our fair city, comes the humongous vehicles they drive.
These vehicles are not meant to be parked in the “narra” parking spaces now dictated by the city. When one of these huge vehicles pushes their way, catty-cornered and over the lines defining the space, you simply cannot get in or out of your vehicle. One must wait for the doofus to emerge, and move the monster.
In the Pacific Northwest are more civilized. Why when the Hummer came out folks simply keyed every one they saw, simple. The message was clear.
Here, though much more civilized, we must suffer these dinosaurs. Imagine what might happen if Bainbridge Island gets a new underground parking garage!
