Peacock Family Center, a new nonprofit child care and family support center opening at 305 Madison Avenue this winter, held an evening of adult play at its first annual Bainbridge Hold ‘Em Poker Auction and Benefit on Nov. 7.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will go to the green build-out of an eco-healthy child care pilot program, one of the first programs in the state and nationally, and the only program of its kind to co-house child care and family support.

This event was sponsored by local and Seattle area businesses and benefited from numerous in-kind donations. We hope you will support our local businesses that build community.

We also want to thank the numerous professionals who have offered their in-kind professional services to support Peacock Family Center’s construction. These include a landscape designer, a LEED AP architect, a green building consultant, a LEED AP lighting designer, Arup Engineering, and an operations manager.

We look forward to providing comprehensive family care to our community in the coming year.
