To the editor:
Pegeen Mulhern is the very sensible choice for the Bainbridge Island at-large city council position.
We’ve known Pegeen and her family for many years. She’s been a dedicated participant in school and citizen advisory committees, youth organizations, and church activities. Her skills and well-rounded experience as a maritime attorney, law librarian, entrepreneur and small business owner strengthen her ability to work within the city government and move better decisions forward. She is hard-working, knowledgeable, conscientious, thoughtful, straightforward, decisive, bright, energetic, and a very good communicator.
Pegeen is sincere about wanting to understand all sides of the issues to ensure responsible planning and development in balance with protecting the natural resources of this community. She will work diligently to tackle the tough issues like traffic congestion and safety, affordable housing, conducting city business more efficiently, and prudent spending of taxpayer dollars, while at the same time reinforcing the best of what makes Bainbridge Island a special place to live and work.
Please join us in voting for Pegeen Mulhern for city council. She is reasonable, responsible, reliable and ready to do the best job for Bainbridge.
