It’s time again for the General Election candidate forums presented as a community education program. There are six forums held a various dates and places across Kitsap County.

The forum being held on Bainbridge Island covers the 23rd Legislative District State Representatives. The candidates participating in this forum are Sherry Appleton, Scott Henden, Drew Hansen and James Olsen. The forum will be held at the Bainbridge Island City Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15.

The other forums cover the 35th Legislative District on Oct. 9 at Norm Dicks Center in Bremerton; the Kitsap County Commissioner, Auditor and Assessor on Oct. 13 at Poulsbo City Hall starting at 6:30; the U.S. Congressional District 6 and the Kitsap County District Court Judge on Oct. 14 at the Norm Dicks Center; the 26th Legislative District House and Senate at Norm Dicks Center on Oct. 16 starting at 6:30 p.m.; and the Kitsap County Prosecutor, Clerk and Coroner at the Poulsbo City Hall on Oct. 20. All forums begin at 6:30 and end between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m.

All of these forums are open to the public, free, and will be recorded by the Bremerton Access Television (BKAT).The rebroadcast will be on Comcast Channel 12 and Wave Broadband Channel 2.
