Hidden agenda is behind Municipal Court proposal | Letters | Feb. 11

It seems that moving the Bainbridge Municipal Court to Poulsbo reeks of hidden agendas, personal politics, or both. First, the rationale for the move was “economics.” That proved invalid so then “safety” became the rallying point, and even that is suspect and arguable.

Unless one of the City Council proponents changes their vote, what we do know is, that Poulsbo can recoup some of their losses, there will be no benefit to COBI, and most of us taxpayers will suffer.

I wonder why the four council persons are pushing this, considering the myriad real problems the city faces along with the overwhelming public opposition to the idea in the first place.
