The voters need to hear about the issues such as the county budget, approaches toward diversifying the county business community and caring for the environment rather than personal attacks, erroneous at that!

Fact: Ed Wolfe has served Kitsap County as a founding member of the Bremerton Boys & Girls Club; as a longtime member of the Olympic College Foundation; past president of the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce; member of the Kitsap County Historical Society; appointed to the Kitsap County Planning Commission.

Fact: As a successful Kitsap County attorney, Ed Wolfe has been a pro tem judge in every municipal and district court in the county. He is a past president of the Kitsap County Bar Association and has the support  for his candidacy from a cross-section of the County legal community.

Fact: His supporters include both Republicans and Democrats because Ed is a quality candidate with a responsible and reasonable outlook.

Fact: Ed Wolfe is retired Army veteran and very knowledgeable about issues facing our veterans and active military. Ed is a past president of the Puget Sound Naval Bases Association and was active in Kitsap County’s effort to retain Kitsap County’s military installations at Bangor, Keyport and Bremerton during the BRAC process.

Fact: His opponent’s professional experience is limited to planning and community engagement. She has not had the executive leadership experience we expect for a county commissioner. She is an appointed incumbent with one year’s experience on the commission.

Comparing the two candidates for Kitsap County Commission, the obvious choice is Ed Wolfe.
