To the editor:

I have lived on Bainbridge for 18 years, but moved a year and a half ago. While enjoying a wonderful visit for Fourth of July week, I was amazed to see that although we put men on the moon and soon Mars, I still can’t use my iPhone on most of the island!

After a proliferation of cell phone use worldwide, you’d think the anti-tower faction of Bainbridge citizens would finally get a grip on technology and move into the future with the rest of us!
