Here’s a simple map I have sketched of Bainbridge. Let’s look at parks: (See YouTube video: “Bainbridge:  Enough!!” (http://youtu.be/KNP_O7u_BBE).

You hear people say “Preserve, Preserve, Preserve, Preserve.”  That is the lifeboat mentality.  Let us invite young, vibrant, new families to live with us on our beautiful Bainbridge Island where we have 43 parks, 1,500 acres, and 30 miles of mixed-use trails.

Let’s respect the tax burden on those with limited incomes, on the middle class, on the elderly.  The Sakai property is prime location for in-city homes and would add upwards of $70,000,000 to the tax rolls to pay for our schools, our government, and for the maintenance of parks we already have.

When your ballot comes, please join me in voting NO for this additional $5,900,000 in taxes. Thank you.
