The BPA Gallery presents “Painters Together,” media from members of the “Tuesday Painters,” in February.

The gallery will participate in the First Friday Art Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 5 for an artist reception and an evening of art, food and friends.

Formed more than 10 years ago from classes originally led by Gillian Bull, the “Tuesday Painters” group seeks to nourish the artistic drive of its members and support their practice of creating art. Members of the group paint weekly, mainly on Bainbridge Island, in the open air throughout summer. During the wet, chilly months, the group meets to work on prior studies, or from photographs or still life setups.

The February exhibit at the BPA Gallery features work from Gillian Bull, Bridget Grant, Kaye Hansen, Joan Kinsman, Dorothy Matthews, Mary Pearce, Susan Rosenberg, Mary Stroeing and Nikki Vick.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby. Admission is free.
