Join Field’s End at the Bainbridge Public Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, for a free presentation and slideshow from George Mason and Salli Slaughter of “The Authors Road.”
“The Authors Road: A Quest to Learn from America’s Writers” is an ongoing three-year-long project by Mason and Slaughter, who have traveled around the country interviewing noted living writers and experts on famed deceased writers (novelists, journalists, poets and even songwriters) in order to better understand how these great storytellers began their craft, their early inspirations, their writing habits and what they think about the future of writing given the constant changes in technology and culture.
Subjects will include Tom Robbins, George R.R. Martin, Diana Gabaldon, Jim Harrison, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck and more.
