The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art smARTfilms series continues at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 with “Best In Show” (2000), a satire of the classic documentary film format by Christopher Guest which offers a detailed look into the lives of five dogs and their owners on their way to Philadelphia for the Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show.
The film stars Fred Willard, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara and Parker Posey.
BIMA’s smARTfilms series fosters community conversation through the merger of visual art, film and narrative. After each screening, audience members are invited participate in an open exchange of ideas through moderated discussions which serve to anchor the film in the art and craft of our region and our time.
