The stars have not lined up for this Saturday’s show at the Edwin E. Ritchie Observatory.
The Battle Point Astronomical Association — the nonprofit amateur astronomy organization that operates the Ritchie Observatory and John H. Rudolph Planetarium at Battle Point Park — announced Tuesday that it has canceled the upcoming planetarium Show, “Galaxy Collisions and the Milky Way.”
The show had been scheduled for Saturday, March 14.
It was called off because of COVID-19 concerns, according to the BPAA.
The program will be rescheduled in the future.
The BPAstro Kids program on citizen science planned for Saturday, March 14, has also been canceled.
