Bainbridge graduate to teach in Spain

Elsa Hager, a member of the Bainbridge High class of 2015, recently graduated from Whitman College with a double major in music and psychology. She authored two theses for her degree, “An American in Paris: A Performance History” and “Psychopathy and Online Trolling: Examining the Mediating Effect of Relationship Quality.”

Hager was awarded the high distinction of graduating summa cum laude, with a cumulative GPA in excess of 3.9.

During her time at Whitman, she was also active in the “Adopt-A-Grandparent” program, the Whitman College Chorale, and participated in the IES Abroad program, studying music and psychology in Vienna. As a BHS student, she volunteered with other students working with Russian orphans in the Camp Kitezh program.

Beginning in September, Hager will be teaching English in a local school in Palma, Majorca, Spain.
