“The Divine Feminine” — acrylics on canvas and mixed media by Suzanne Cheryl Gardner — comes to the BPA Gallery in April.

The new exhibit opens with a First Friday Art Walk reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 5.

Gardner uses acrylics, recycled vintage jewelry, beach glass, and natural materials to create images that represent The Divine Feminine. Her images speak to cycles of Life, Death, and Rebirth, and the ancient notion that Mother Earth was revered as the Divine, expressing love of nature, hope, compassion, love, and peace.

The exhibit will continues throughout April at the BPA Gallery.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby. Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday plus one hour prior to each performance.

Admission is free, and information is available online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206-842-8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. North.
