Gear Grinders host informational meeting

The Gear Grinders Mountain Bike Team will host an informational meeting at Strawberry Hill Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The Gear Grinders are a co-ed team open to Bainbridge High School and Eagle Harbor High School students who are interested in mountain bike racing or recreational riding.

The team’s mountain bike season runs from December until May. During the Gear Grinders’ last season, the team earned second place in the 2013 Washington State Team Championships.
