FOOTBALL FRIDAY | Spartan matchup against Eastside Catholic postponed for security reasons

A threat of a mass shooting at Skyline High School on Seattle’s Eastside has prompted the postponement of the Eastside Catholic football game tonight against Bainbridge Island. Skyline received a threat against the school and the Issaquah School District ordered the school closed Thursday.

Eastside Catholic is about a mile north of Skyline High.

According to Eastside Catholic’s website, the school was closed Friday for “a comprehensive safety and security analysis of the campus and facility.”

Eastside Catholic’s football game against Bainbridge has been rescheduled from Friday to Saturday.
