Spartans stellar at Shoreline Invitational

SEATTLE – Several Spartans excelled at the recent Shoreline Invitational track and field meet.

Bryce Hill-Settelmeyer took first place in javelin for Bainbridge High.

Emma Brundige claimed the seventh-place spot in the 200-meter long jump.

In the 4×800 relay event, the Bainbridge team of Anna Scott, Hannah Tonsman, Julia Brooks and Naomi Von Ruden took sixth.

Perennial powerhouse Sarah Lucioni claimed a second-place finish in the high jump event.

Speedy Spartan Wyatt Longley finished fifth in the 400-meter event, and the 4×400 relay team of Longley, Carlo Rugerrio, Evan Kimmerlein and Cole Brundige took first place overall.

The Spartan track and field team next returned home to host Garfield and Franklin on Thursday, May 4.
