BAINBRIDGE – In their last home match of the regular season, the Bainbridge High varsity boys soccer team scored a 5-0 shutout against the visiting Chief Sealth Seahawks Friday, April 28.

The victory nudged the Spartan record to 8-3-2 in league (8-3-3 overall) and earned them the third-place spot in the Metro standings.

Roosevelt and O’Dea are tied for the top spot (9-1-3 in league), with Seattle Prep in second (9-3-1).

The island squad would next travel to play against Cleveland Monday, and then Rainier Beach Wednesday, the final game of the regular schedule.

Friday’s contest saw the Spartans leap in front early and stay ahead throughout, at no time surrendering field dominance for long.
