Kitchen Arts meeting demystifies yeast

Advanced bakers will be interested to learn the science behind different yeasts and pick up some tips and tricks from Myra Zocher, master baker at A Woman Sconed. Novices can just demystify this fussy ingredient. All are welcome at BARN’s temporary facility in Rolling Bay, 11272 Sunrise Drive, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12.
