Bainbridge boys fall 66-51 to Roosevelt hoopsters

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity basketball team suffered a 66-51 early season setback on the road against Roosevelt High Tuesday.
The host school lead 15-8 in the game’s first quarter, but BHS made some big gains in the second and ended the first half only slightly behind (32-30).
The Spartans fell dramatically behind in the third and were outscored 14-8. BHS was unable to gain back the ground they lost in the game’s final quarter.
The loss evened up the team’s season record to 1-1. The Spartans will play at home again at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 against Garfield High.
