HIV-AIDS meeting set for next week

The Bainbridge Island School District will hold its annual HIV-AIDS curriculum presentation next week in the school board’s meeting room in the Commodore building complex.

The meeting is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20.

District officials note that, according to state law, parents or guardians who want to excuse their students from HIV-AIDS instruction must attend the meeting.
