Gemstone trunk show next week at BARN

Lapidary artist David V. Horste will hold a trunk show at Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6.
The Portland designer specializes in focal beads and cabachons. He works in semiprecious stone and organic gems like jet, fossil ivory, shell and bone along with upcycled materials such as bowling balls, fordite and recycled glass.
