Josephine and Kira are this week’s adoptable pets.

For adoption from PAWS:

Josephine is a 10-year-old shorthaired all-black female who came in to PAWs when her owner died.

She is a friendly, chatty girl who has done OK with the other cats she’s met, but she’d prefer to not have to share her space or people with them.

Jo is at the PAWS Pleasant Beach Adoption Center (open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday).

For adoption through the Kitsap Humane Society:

Kira, a playful, gorgeous, 1-year-old Shepherd mix, would love an active home to call her own.

This girl enjoys car ride adventures, playing fetch, going on hikes, running in the pasture – she’s up for it all!
