Morris awarded scholarship at WGU Washington

Melissa Morris of Bainbridge Island has received a Military Appreciation Scholarship from WGU Washington.

The nonprofit, online university is based in Kent.

“Earning a college degree — particularly as a mid-career adult — is difficult,” said Chancellor Jean Floten. “We’re proud to award these scholarships and recognize those who have made the brave choice to go back to school.”
