Auditions slated for ‘August: Osage County’ at Bainbridge Performing Arts

Bainbridge Performing Arts will hold auditions for an upcoming production of “August: Osage County” on Monday, Nov. 7 and Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Kate Carruthers is slated to direct this highly combustible dark comedy about the Weston clan of Oklahoma. Run dates for the show are March 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31, and April 1 and 2, with a Pay-What-You-Can Preview on March 16.

Rehearsals are Jan. 10 through March 15; 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

The play includes roles for six men, ages 25-75, and seven women, ages 16-75.

Those auditioning are requested to prepare a one- to two-minute monologue.
