BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge Spartans finished their home season in style with a 119-99 win over Roosevelt in girls varsity golf.

The 119 score was the Spartans’ high point total of the year.

Taylor Ty came up big for Bainbridge in the Metro matchup Wednesday at Wing Point Golf Course. She finished with 34 points.

Kiera Havill was right behind with 29 points for BHS, followed by teammates Nicole Daniels (28), Kendall Havill (28), Lucy Hanacek (24), Sara Colley (24), Maddie Loverich (21) and Caitlin Slattery (21).

The win over the Rough Riders followed a 91-83 defeat against Garfield earlier in the week on the road.

Late last week, the Spartans rolled over West Seattle, 93-13.

Bainbridge will close out the regular season on Friday, Oct. 14 against Nathan Hale in Seattle. The Metro Tournament is next week.
