Knostman earns all-conference nod

CENTERVILLE, Mass. –  Jake Knostman of Bainbridge Island has been named to the All-Conference Rookie Team for the Eastern College Athletic Conference in lacrosse.

Knostman, a midfielder, has been solid in his first year for Fairfield University with 13 goals, seven assists and 13 ground balls.

Knostman had five two-goal games this season for the Stags, and has recorded at least one point in all but two games this season.

Fairfield (11-3; 3-1 ECAC) earned the top seed in the 2014 ECAC Lacrosse League Championship Tournament after clinching a share of the regular season title.
