SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity football team suffered their sixth loss of the season, 28-7, against Seattle Prep, Friday, Oct. 16.
The defeat dropped the Spartans’ overall record to 1-6 and the team to the sixth spot in the Metro Mountain standings.
The game’s sole Spartan touchdown was scored by Riley Dunn, who managed four carries for 41 yards throughout the night.
Sam Wysong went 15-for-59 and Eric Jung added in 15 carries for 82 yards as well for a BHS game total of 182 rushing yards.
Jung also managed four receptions for 23 yards.
Sam Roth chipped in two-for-17, Wysong had two-for-eight and Nick Nordberg finished the night with four receptions for 70 yards.
Tanner Shattuck was perfect and went one-for-one in conversions.
Defensively, the team was led by Roth, who managed 13 solo tackles and one assisted tackle.
Ben McDonald had 10 solo and two assisted tackles and Alex Pickett had eight and one.
